Hush Hush

Becca Fitzpatrick

Hush hush

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment. But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life!

[publisher's description]

The book is about fallen angels and forbidden love. It’s very well written in simple language and that’s why you can read it quickly. The plot is unusual, interesting and it makes you willingly continue reading. The characters are very thoughtfully created. Each of them is different, and their character features work together perfectly and create truly logical and credible personalities. The characters’ feelings are described in such a way that you can easily imagine them and thanks to this you can understand the actions of the heroes. You can also put yourself in their places and try to think what you could do.

The story is surprising and full of suspense. So much so that after reading the first part you are eager to delve into the next ones.

I chose “Hush Hush” because I love books on this general subject and this story did not disappoint me. So I really recommend it to everyone who likes reading stories with a little bit of fantasy and love in one.
